Nagar Kurnool MP Mallu Ravi didn’t mince words, strongly criticizing Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao for his recent “irresponsible” comments about the Chief Minister at an Achampet gathering. According to Ravi, these remarks clearly show the BRS’s deep frustration following their string of electoral defeats.
He pointed out that even after being removed from power and rejected by voters in the Parliament elections, the BRS hasn’t learned its lesson. “Instead of resorting to insults against the Chief Minister, they should explain why they couldn’t deliver on their promise of two-bedroom houses for an entire decade,” Ravi challenged.
In stark contrast, Ravi highlighted the Congress government’s rapid progress: “In just 18 months, we’ve approved 4.5 lakh Indiramma houses, introduced free bus travel, offered subsidized cooking gas, and generated 65,000 jobs through the TGPSC.”
Furthermore, the MP accused BRS leaders of politicizing the issue of reservations. “Despite their constant criticism, the 42% BC quota is only now being genuinely implemented by the Congress government. Those who previously questioned the Chief Minister’s commitment to reservations should acknowledge their error and apologize,” he asserted.
Ravi concluded by labeling the Kaleshwaram project a “scam-ridden blunder” that deeply betrayed public trust. He urged voters to carefully evaluate the performance and track records of both political parties.
