In a significant stride towards advancing healthcare education, Mahindra University, Hyderabad, and the renowned Apollo Healthcare Academy have officially sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration is set to introduce a series of bachelor’s degree programs in Allied Health Sciences, directly addressing the growing demand for highly skilled professionals in the medical sector.
These innovative programs will concentrate on crucial and high-demand specializations, including but not limited to Anesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Cardiovascular Technology.
The strength of this alliance lies in its ability to merge Mahindra University’s state-of-the-art academic infrastructure with Apollo Healthcare Academy’s extensive clinical expertise. This powerful combination is designed to produce ‘practice-ready’ graduates whose skills and knowledge are perfectly aligned with the contemporary needs of the healthcare industry.
Ensuring both national regulatory compliance and global recognition, the curriculum for these programs will strictly adhere to the guidelines set forth by the National Commission for Allied & Healthcare Professionals.
A core component of these programs will be the invaluable hands-on experience provided through mandatory clinical rotations at various Apollo Hospitals and their associated healthcare facilities. Students will also undertake a vital final-year internship, ensuring a seamless transition from academic learning to professional practice.
