The Thalavady Sridevi Vilasam Karayogam (Unit No. 2280) has officially voiced its strong disapproval of Nair Service Society (NSS) general secretary G. Sukumaran Nair’s recent position on the sensitive Sabarimala temple issue. This significant resolution was unanimously passed during the Karayogam’s annual general body meeting, which took place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, and saw the participation of representatives from the Kuttanad Taluk Union.
According to the resolution, the general secretary’s decisions and actions have been described as unilateral, effectively steering the respected NSS organization towards an alliance with the left political front. This move has sparked considerable debate and concern within the community, as the Karayogam highlights a perceived shift in the organization’s traditional stance due to its leadership’s recent directives.
