Among the standouts were Legendary Impact and Prince Of Wales, who both delivered performances that left observers impressed, hinting at their readiness for upcoming races.
Inner Sand Track Highlights:
On the inner sand track, Agrador, guided by jockey R. Pradeep, completed a swift 600 meters in a brisk 40 seconds, displaying excellent form and a powerful, smooth stride. This performance suggests a horse in peak condition.
Outer Sand Track Action:
The outer sand track also saw a flurry of action. Sir Winston, ridden by an unnamed jockey, looked in fine trim, covering 600 meters in 45 seconds. Anigraha, with Hindu S in the saddle, clocked 46.5 seconds for the same distance, moving with notable ease and control. Star Of India, under D. Patel, also completed 600 meters in 46 seconds, appearing comfortable and well on the bit.
Longer Distance Showings:
Moving to longer distances, Prince Of Wales, ridden by Shinde, showed remarkable grace and speed, covering 1000 meters in an impressive 1 minute 14 seconds, with the final 600 meters in a sharp 42.5 seconds. This was a truly outstanding display of sustained pace.
Perhaps the most eye-catching workout came from Legendary Impact and Recreator. Legendary Impact, also guided by Shinde, and Recreator, with Suhas in the saddle, completed 1200 meters in 1 minute 28.5 seconds. Their 1000-meter split was recorded at 1 minute 12.5 seconds, and the final 600 meters in 44 seconds. Notably, Recreator, who started three lengths behind, caught up impressively to finish level with Legendary Impact, demonstrating both horses’ excellent conditioning and competitive spirit. Other notable performances included Oxytocin (P. Mani), who eased up after covering 1200 meters in 1 minute 33 seconds (with a 1200-600m split of 40 seconds), Czar (Mudassar) completing 1200 meters in 1 minute 31.5 seconds (1000m in 1 minute 15.5 seconds, 600m in 46 seconds) with evident ease, and Tolkien (Akshay) matching Czar’s time of 1 minute 31.5 seconds for 1200 meters (1000m in 1 minute 15.5 seconds, 600m in 44.5 seconds), also moving comfortably.
