The Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) is all set to host its seventh annual convocation on November 5th. This significant event will commence at 11:30 AM at the Farmers’ Knowledge Centre auditorium, located within the University of Agricultural Sciences campus in Dharwad.
The ceremony promises to be a distinguished affair, with the university’s Chancellor, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, presiding over the proceedings. Karnataka’s Law Minister, H.K. Patil, will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while the convocation address will be delivered by the esteemed Justice Shivaraj Patil, a former judge of the Supreme Court.
A highlight of the convocation will be the presentation of honorary doctorates to several eminent personalities. These include Justice S. Abdul Nazeer, who currently serves as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh and is also a former Supreme Court judge; Justice B.V. Nagarathna, a sitting judge of the Supreme Court; and V. Sudesh Pai, a highly respected senior advocate of the Karnataka High Court. This recognition underscores their remarkable contributions to the legal profession and judiciary.
