KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (Autonomous), widely known as KLS IMER, officially joined forces with Dr. Sathe’s Aarogya Mitra Foundation in Belagavi this Monday. This significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) marks the beginning of an exciting collaboration.
The core purpose of this partnership is to collaboratively develop and implement a wide array of impactful health and wellness programs, benefiting both the dedicated faculty and the aspiring students at KLS IMER.
The official signing ceremony saw Uday Kalkundrikar, Chairman of the Governing Council at KLS IMER, and Varsha Sathe, the visionary founder of Aarogya Mitra Foundation, putting their signatures to the agreement, solidifying their shared commitment.
Through this collaboration, KLS IMER is set to host a series of expertly guided sessions. These sessions will cover crucial topics such as comprehensive health education, essential hygiene practices, balanced nutrition, fostering mental well-being, and effective stress management techniques.
As stated in a recent release, this forward-thinking initiative perfectly complements the existing ‘Universal Human Values and Professional Ethics’ course offered to MBA students. It directly contributes to student welfare and robust support systems by actively fostering holistic development and overall well-being across the entire campus community.
The event was graced by several esteemed personalities, including R.S. Mutalik and Rajendra Belgaumkar from the Governing Council, KLS IMER Director Arif Shaikh, and Associate Professor Shailaja Hiremath. Also in attendance were Ms. Trupti and Ms. Sumati, representing the Aarogya Mitra Foundation, highlighting the collective enthusiasm for this new venture.
