Kerala’s Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, is set to open a vital one-day global mobility conclave in Thiruvananthapuram on October 7, 2025. This important event, a joint effort by the Protector of Emigrants (Thiruvananthapuram and Cochin) and the Non-Resident Keralites Affairs Department (NoRKA), aims to tackle pressing issues facing those seeking opportunities abroad.
Arun Kumar Chatterjee, Secretary of the External Affairs Ministry, will deliver a key address. Shashank Tripathi, representing the Protector of Emigrants, confirmed that a primary focus of the conclave will be to develop effective strategies against fraudulent recruitment agencies and establish robust mechanisms for complaint resolution.
The gathering will bring together a diverse group of participants, including senior officials from the Ministry of External Affairs, state government representatives, leading experts, skill development organizations, accredited recruitment agencies, and various other crucial stakeholders. Attendees can register starting at 8:30 a.m., with sessions scheduled to begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
