800m workout: Marius (A. Prakash) and Exciting (Vivek G) clocked 56 seconds for 800m, with a 600m split of 42 seconds, showing ease in their stride. Star horse Jagger, ridden by P. Vinod, demonstrated excellent responsiveness, covering 800m in 48 seconds and 600m in 37 seconds. Axlrod, partnered with T.S. Jodha, also impressed, completing 800m in 49 seconds and 600m in 37 seconds with a smooth run. Ricochet, under P. Vinod, moved freely, recording 53 seconds for 800m and 40 for 600m.
1000m workout: Hazel, with Vivek G, finished 1000m in 1 minute and 6 seconds, passing 800m in 52 seconds and 600m in 39 seconds, requiring only a slight urging. Merchant Of Venice, ridden by Ramswarup, completed the 1000m distance easily in 1 minute and 12 seconds, with a 600m split of 43 seconds.
