TPCC working president and former Sangareddy MLA, T. Jagga Reddy, has publicly confronted officials over the extensive delays in completing crucial development projects in Sadashivapet. He specifically drew attention to the Kandhakam Road, a project that received approval all the way back in 2014 but remains unfinished.
During his address, Mr. Reddy voiced strong confidence in the Congress party’s return to power, asserting that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is currently experiencing significant internal strife.
Speaking at a review meeting held in Sadashivapet town, alongside TGIIC chairperson Nirmala, Mr. Jagga Reddy expressed profound disappointment. He highlighted that despite his efforts in securing ₹20 crores for the Kandhakam Road project back in 2014, the work is still far from completion, leaving residents frustrated.
The veteran Congress leader has issued clear directives to the authorities, instructing them to formulate comprehensive proposals for compensating those displaced by the project. This includes allocating 150 square yards of housing plot to eight affected individuals, providing ₹15 lakh to those whose homes have concrete slabs, and ₹10 lakh to those with tin-sheet roofs. He further pledged to personally ensure that all pending road and other vital development works will be officially inaugurated by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy upon their completion.
