India’s Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, proudly announced on Thursday that the Indian military has successfully achieved all its objectives during ‘Operation Sindoor.’ He emphasized that the nation’s resolute fight against cross-border terrorism will continue unabated.
Singh highlighted Pakistan’s futile attempts to breach India’s sophisticated defense systems during Operation Sindoor. He stated that the Indian forces not only thwarted these efforts but also comprehensively exposed the weaknesses in Pakistan’s air defense apparatus, sending a clear message globally about India’s capability to inflict significant damage on any adversary, whenever and wherever necessary.
The Defence Minister shared these remarks while addressing troops at a military base in Bhuj, Gujarat. His address preceded the traditional ‘shastra puja’ (worship of weapons) ceremony, held to mark the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.
He elaborated, “During Operation Sindoor, Pakistan made an unsuccessful attempt to penetrate India’s defence system from Leh to Sir Creek.”
Singh reiterated that India’s response was measured and precise, driven by its firm stance against terrorism rather than a desire to escalate into a full-blown war. He expressed satisfaction that the Indian forces successfully met all military objectives of Operation Sindoor, underscoring that while the immediate operation concluded, the broader campaign against terrorism remains ongoing.
