The 23rd round of discussions between India and China’s Corps Commanders recently took place at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point.
The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed this marked the first General-level engagement in the western sector since the 24th Special Representatives’ Talks. Participants engaged in a positive and cooperative environment.
Both delegations acknowledged the progress achieved since their 22nd meeting and noted that tranquility has been successfully preserved in the border regions.
Looking ahead, India and China committed to utilizing established communication channels to address on-the-ground concerns and ensure continued stability along the Line of Actual Control.
