The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) recently accomplished a significant task, reclaiming a large 4,000 square yard open space designated as a colony park in Doctors’ Colony, Chowdaryguda, Pocharam Municipality. This action took place on Saturday, restoring a vital community area.
The operation followed complaints from welfare association representatives, who reported that plot owners within the 26.9-acre layout had attempted to illegally seize the park land. Investigations by HYDRAA revealed that the allocated park area had been illicitly carved into 20 smaller plots through various transactions. Despite these complex dealings, which even saw the issue reach the High Court without a resolution, HYDRAA pushed forward.
After a thorough inquiry, officials definitively confirmed the site’s status as land specifically designated for a colony park. Following this verification, HYDRAA swiftly proceeded to remove all illegal structures and establish clear signboards, marking the area as government property and securing it for public use.
