In a significant crackdown on illicit drug trade, two individuals have been apprehended by the State Task Force (STF) team of the Telangana Prohibition and Excise Department. The arrests were made during a targeted raid conducted on Tuesday in Nampally, specifically along Hill Fort road.
During the operation, authorities seized a substantial amount of ganja, totaling 2.1 kilograms, from the suspects. The individuals taken into custody have been identified as U. Mukesh and U. Manju.
Furthermore, cases have also been registered against four other persons believed to be involved in the illegal activity: Devaraj, Deva, Sheikh Khalid, and Aman. These four individuals are currently evading arrest, and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend them.
The Telangana Prohibition and Excise Department has confirmed that a thorough investigation into the matter is actively ongoing, aiming to uncover further details and dismantle the wider network.
