In a significant crackdown on illicit drug activities, the Telangana EAGLE Force, working alongside local city police teams, conducted two distinct operations. These actions led to the disruption of a drug party at a well-known pub in Jubilee Hills and the arrest of two individuals in Bollaram who were allegedly distributing narcotics to clients.
The first operation unfolded on the night of October 31. The Telangana EAGLE team, supported by Film Nagar Police, raided The Moonshine Project/EXT Pub in Jubilee Hills. During the raid, three patrons were found to have consumed drugs, testing positive for various substances.
The individuals arrested at the pub included 46-year-old Ch Dinesh Kumar, who tested positive for opioids and methamphetamine, along with Bahadur Rohith Singh, 31, and Banda Revanth Reddy, 25, both of whom tested positive for THC. All three were subsequently transferred to the Film Nagar Police for ongoing legal proceedings.
A separate, equally crucial operation took place on October 30. The Telangana EAGLE Force, collaborating with Bollaram Police, intercepted two suspected drug peddlers. These individuals, identified as Shubham Kumar Singh, 27, from Lothukunta, and Rithik Shiva Nandam Kurup, 24, from Bowenpally, were apprehended at the Bollaram check post. They were reportedly attempting to deliver drugs to customers on behalf of a supplier known as Nandu, who hails from Kerala and resides in Bengaluru.
During their arrest, police confiscated a significant amount of narcotics, including 20 grams of MDMA, two grams of cocaine, 100 grams of “OG” (likely a type of cannabis), and 12 LSD blots. Additionally, ₹48,000 in cash, two mobile phones, and a car were seized. Authorities noted that both accused had transitioned from drug users to active peddlers.
Officials emphasized that these successful operations are part of a broader, continuous initiative to combat the use and distribution of illegal narcotics, particularly within pubs and other social gathering spots throughout Hyderabad.
