RAJANNA SIRCILLA – A Family’s Unspeakable Grief
A profound tragedy has struck Ashireddypally village in Chandurthi mandal, Rajanna Sircilla district, as an 18-month-old girl tragically passed away following a venomous snakebite on Saturday night. The incident has cast a pall of sorrow over the community.
The young victim, identified as Vedanshi, was innocently playing outside her home late Saturday evening when she was bitten by a snake. Her joyous playtime turned into a nightmare in mere moments.
Upon hearing her daughter’s distressed cries, Vedanshi’s mother rushed out, only to find the toddler in excruciating pain. In a desperate bid to save her child, she immediately transported Vedanshi to a hospital in Yellareddypet town.
Tragically, despite the urgent efforts, doctors at the hospital declared Vedanshi brought dead. The news has left her mother and other family members utterly devastated, compounded by the fact that the child’s father is a Gulf migrant worker, far from home during this unimaginable loss.
