Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy expressed strong disapproval of the Congress government’s consistent focus on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He argued that this recurring topic is merely a tactic to distract public attention from the government’s struggles and failures in administration.
Kumaraswamy highlighted that “RSS path sanchalans, or route marches, have been a regular occurrence for many decades.” He questioned the Congress’s motives, stating, “The Congress government has deliberately brought this issue to the forefront solely to obscure its own failures. Since banning the RSS is an impossible task, why do they continue to waste valuable time discussing them day after day?”
He strongly advised the government to “cease their politicking and instead concentrate on genuine development.” Kumaraswamy further criticized their past actions, noting, “Not long ago, they targeted Dharmasthala, forming an SIT and wasting considerable time. Now, Mahesh Shetty Timarodi has found relief in one of those cases. It seems that during this government’s tenure, nothing ever reaches a logical conclusion. They simply squander time and mislead the populace,” he asserted.
Addressing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s comment about not seeking central grants, Mr. Kumaraswamy retorted with a pointed question: “Why should I? The people have entrusted them with 136 seats. When I served as Chief Minister, I didn’t wait for central funds; I acted decisively.”
