Employees of the Union Bank of India (UBI) in Vijayawada took to the streets on Saturday, organizing a compelling rally along BRTS road as part of their Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 celebrations. The event, themed ‘Vigilance – Our Collective Responsibility,’ highlighted the crucial role each citizen plays in upholding integrity.
Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, Vijayawada zonal manager C.V.N. Bhaskara Rao underscored that impartiality and vigilance are not just ideals, but shared duties for all. He passionately urged everyone to work together, united in their commitment to forging a transparent and corruption-free India.
The rally saw significant participation from senior UBI officials, including regional head M.V. Tilak, deputy zonal heads M.V.N. Ravi Sankar and M. Rama Rao, zonal vigilance officer Gopalakrishna, and deputy regional heads B. Raviraju and V. Chandana Sri Rupa. Bank officers and staff marched proudly, carrying placards and banners that powerfully conveyed messages about the vital importance of integrity, ethical conduct, and the decisive elimination of corruption from all facets of life. Their collective presence demonstrated a strong dedication to promoting a culture of honesty and accountability.
