The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), specifically its Regional Centre in Saharsa, Bihar, has announced an important extension for prospective students. The application period for both new admissions and re-registrations for the July 2025 academic session has been prolonged.
As per an official notice released by the Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Centre, Saharsa, the final date for fresh admissions has been moved to September 30, 2025. This beneficial extension covers all academic programs available through both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes. However, it’s important to note that this extension does not apply to semester-based or certificate programs.
Similarly, the deadline for re-registering for the July 2025 session has also been extended to September 30, 2025. Students should be aware that a late fee of ₹200 will be applicable for all programs offered in ODL and online modes during this extended re-registration period.
