Good news for travelers! To ensure everyone can celebrate Deepavali and attend the Hulijanti Shri Malingaraya Jatra without a hitch, the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) is launching an extensive fleet of 600 extra buses. This initiative aims to make festive travel smooth and stress-free for thousands of passengers heading to various destinations, including bustling Bengaluru and the sacred Hulijanti.
KKRTC’s Managing Director, B. Susheela, announced that these special services will be available from October 16 to 18, departing from all district and taluk headquarters across the KKRTC network to Bengaluru and other major cities. For those returning, dedicated trips from Bengaluru to various destinations are scheduled from October 17 to 19.
Devotees planning to visit the Hulijanti Shri Malingaraya Jatra can also look forward to convenient travel options, with additional services running on October 20, 21, and 22. Furthermore, KKRTC plans to operate even more buses between October 22 and 26, responding to anticipated passenger demand after the main festive and holiday period.
Booking your journey is simple and comes with perks! Passengers can reserve their seats in advance at any of the 18 computerized booking counters located throughout Karnataka and its neighboring states. To sweeten the deal, KKRTC is offering a 5% discount for group bookings of four or more individuals, and an even better 10% concession when you book your round-trip tickets together.
Ms. Susheela kindly reminds all travelers to double-check their bus station, pick-up point, and journey schedule as printed on their advance tickets to ensure a hassle-free boarding experience.
