Andhra Pradesh BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav recently declared that the party’s offices must transform into “Janata Garages,” envisioned as bustling local centers committed to public service and effective political communication.
Mr. Madhav shared this vision during a crucial workshop held in Amaravati. The event gathered official party spokespersons and media panelists, focusing on enhancing grassroots communication strategies and deepening their understanding of pressing public issues.
He underscored the vital role of spokespersons, urging them to proactively participate in local programs. Their mission, he emphasized, is to ensure that the BJP’s foundational ideology, significant achievements, and the numerous welfare initiatives spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi successfully reach every household.
“Our representatives are called to be the authentic voice of the people. The powerful messages of ‘Swadeshi’ (self-reliance), ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India), and ‘Viksit Andhra Pradesh’ (developed Andhra Pradesh) must be embraced and propagated widely throughout society,” Mr. Madhav articulated.
Furthermore, Mr. Madhav highlighted India’s growing self-reliance across critical sectors like defense, telecommunications, and pharmaceuticals, attributing these successes to the impactful governance model under Prime Minister Modi.
“Today, the global community recognizes India as a truly self-reliant nation. This remarkable transformation is a direct outcome of Mr. Modi’s visionary leadership,” he stated, citing the substantial Central support for key projects such as Amaravati and Polavaram, alongside Visakhapatnam’s emergence as a prominent global data hub.
Adding to the discussion, Medical and Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav addressed concerns regarding medical colleges being developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, firmly refuting any claims of privatization.
“This model ensures no financial detriment to the State. After a 33-year period, these institutions will fully revert to government control. Upon completion, Andhra Pradesh stands to gain an impressive 1,500 new medical seats, including 725 allocated as free seats,” he explained. He further affirmed the coalition government’s unwavering commitment to expanding healthcare accessibility and enhancing educational opportunities for all citizens.
Other notable speakers at the workshop included Rajya Sabha member P. Satyanarayana, Twenty-Point Programme Implementation Committee Chairman Lanka Dinakar, Telugu and Sanskrit Academies chairman R.D. Wilson, and BJP State chief spokesperson V. Jayaprakash.
