A Saudia Airlines flight, traveling from Jakarta to the holy city of Madinah, was forced to make an unscheduled landing at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Sunday evening. The diversion occurred due to a critical medical emergency involving a passenger on board.
The Saudia flight (B77W) touched down in Thiruvananthapuram around 7 p.m. after a 37-year-old female passenger lost consciousness. Emergency services were on standby, and the ailing individual was immediately transferred to a nearby private hospital for urgent medical attention.
Following the necessary procedures and ensuring the passenger’s care, the aircraft was cleared to resume its journey to Madinah. The flight carried 395 passengers and a crew of 18, according to airport authorities.
