Airport authorities confirmed the incident, assuring that the aircraft, carrying 160 passengers, made a safe landing at Chennai International Airport.
Sources close to the airport operations stated that the technical issue was identified while the flight was en route. Following standard safety protocols, the pilot immediately initiated a diversion to the nearest suitable airport, which was Chennai.
