A shocking incident occurred on Sunday night in Shivanahalli, Basaveshwar Nagar, when an electric scooter, parked and charging in the basement of a residential home, suddenly caught fire. Fortunately, despite the intensity of the blaze, no one was harmed during the event.
The homeowner, identified as Mukesh, had plugged in his electric vehicle for charging, a routine activity. However, at approximately 11:30 PM, the situation took a dangerous turn as smoke began to fill the building, alerting the family to the unfolding emergency.
Acting quickly and bravely, the family members rushed to the basement. Before fire and emergency services could arrive, they managed to heroically pull the burning scooter out of the building. A bicycle stored next to the scooter was also consumed by the flames. Firefighters arrived shortly thereafter and successfully extinguished the remaining fire, preventing further damage.
