Telangana’s Deputy Chief Minister, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, has boldly declared that the current ‘Praja government’ is working tirelessly to rescue the state’s economy. He attributes the severe financial strain to a decade of what he describes as misrule by the previous BRS government, vowing to guide Telangana back onto a trajectory of sustained growth and development.
Speaking at a recent public gathering in Mudigonda, Khammam district, Vikramarka welcomed numerous local leaders and grassroots members from the BRS party who have chosen to join the Congress. This significant shift, according to sources, highlights a growing confidence in the new administration.
Vikramarka noted, “Across the state, a remarkable number of BRS cadres and elected representatives are aligning with the Congress, deeply impressed by our government’s commitment to development and its robust welfare programs.”
He didn’t hold back in his criticism, alleging that the BRS regime systematically dismantled Telangana’s financial infrastructure and governance mechanisms. He claimed the state’s resources were effectively “mortgaged” to benefit a select few during their nearly ten-year tenure.
Highlighting the Congress government’s key initiatives, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the “people’s government” is dedicated to fostering comprehensive development and ensuring the welfare of all citizens through practical and forward-thinking policies.
