Good news for international visitors heading to Delhi! From October 1, the Delhi airport will launch a cutting-edge E-Arrival Card facility, enabling foreign travelers to complete their arrival information online, effectively replacing the old manual paper cards.
Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), the airport operator, announced this innovative step on Tuesday (September 30, 2025). The new system is designed to streamline the arrival experience, boost operational efficiency, minimize wait times, and significantly contribute to the airport’s sustainability efforts by drastically reducing paper consumption.
This initiative, overseen by the Bureau of Immigration, places Delhi Airport among leading global hubs like those in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia, which already offer similar digital convenience to their inbound passengers.
According to DIAL, the seamless digital platform allows international passengers to enter their arrival details online, completely doing away with the need for physical forms at the airport.
Travelers will have the convenience of filling out this digital form up to three days prior to their scheduled arrival.
This isn’t Delhi Airport’s first foray into advanced traveler services. In June 2024, India’s inaugural “Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Traveller Programme” (FTI-TTP) was successfully introduced, catering to Indian nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders, further enhancing their travel experience.
