Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to be in Secunderabad on September 17 to participate in the Telangana Liberation Day celebrations. The day will feature significant events, including the hoisting of the national flag and a ceremonial parade involving central paramilitary forces at the historic Parade Grounds. In addition to these observances, Minister Singh will also unveil a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Cantonment Park, located conveniently near the Jubilee Bus Station.
The esteemed occasion will also see the presence of several other prominent political figures. Among them will be Union Minister of Coal & Mines G. Kishan Reddy, who also serves as the Secunderabad MP, along with Union Minister of Tourism & Culture Gajendra Singh Shekawat, and Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Furthermore, N. Ramchander Rao, the President of BJP Telangana, along with other party MPs and MLAs, are expected to attend the various programmes. Earlier in the day, Mr. Rao is also set to hoist the national flag at the State party office, according to an official press release.
