Twelve districts are now under an orange alert, signifying a high likelihood of heavy to very heavy rainfall, while seven other districts are under a yellow alert, indicating expected heavy rainfall for Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Districts Under Orange Alert
The IMD’s latest bulletin details that heavy to very heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and strong gusty winds, is highly probable in several isolated areas. These include Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, and Warangal districts.
Furthermore, heavy rainfall is expected in isolated parts of Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, and Yadadri Bhongir. Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are also forecasted for Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Janagon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy districts.
