The vibrant CBSE Malabar Sahodaya Kozhikode District Kalotsav has kicked off with immense energy, and Silver Hills Public School has emerged as the early frontrunner for the coveted overall championship title. As of Saturday, October 25th, Silver Hills has amassed an impressive 560 points, showcasing their exceptional talent across various categories.
Hot on their heels is Devagiri Public School, securing a strong second position with 541 points, promising a thrilling second day of competition. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan school, Chevayur, currently holds the third spot with a respectable 408 points, demonstrating the high level of skill among the participating institutions.
The inaugural day of the Kalotsav witnessed a spectacular display of cultural arts. Enthusiastic crowds gathered to cheer on participants in popular events such as Oppana, folk dance, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, and Kolkali, which proved to be significant attractions. This grand cultural festival, hosted at KPCM Sree Narayana Vidyalayam in Kunnamangalam, has brought together approximately 4,000 talented students from 67 CBSE schools across the district. The two-day event will conclude on Sunday, October 26th, after a final day of artistic showcases and intense competition.
