The XI Additional District and Sessions Court in Chittoor has set October 30th as the new date for delivering its judgment in the deeply scrutinized 2015 Katari Mohan and Anuradha double murder case. This crucial decision comes after the verdict, initially scheduled for October 27th, was postponed.
Former Chittoor Mayor Katari Mohan and his wife Anuradha were tragically killed inside the Municipal office on November 17, 2015. Reports suggest the brutal murders stemmed from ongoing political and family disagreements. Five individuals stand accused in connection with the case, prominently including Chandrasekhar alias Chintu (46), the slain couple’s nephew, along with four alleged accomplices. Notably, 22 other individuals who were initially implicated have been acquitted of the charges.
