The Telangana Congress has issued a stern warning, announcing its intention to pursue legal action against anyone involved in spreading false information through deceptive ‘Congress surveys.’ The party emphasized that those behind such propaganda will be held accountable.
Sama Rammohan Reddy, the TPCC Media and Communication Chairman, explicitly stated that the Congress party has not commissioned any official surveys for the Jubilee Hills constituency. He highlighted that certain individuals, falsely posing as election analysts, are intentionally disseminating misleading reports suggesting the Congress is performing poorly.
“We’ve become aware of an individual falsely claiming to conduct surveys on behalf of the Congress. We want to make it absolutely clear: the party has not appointed this person, or anyone else, as a psephologist. Neither the AICC nor the TPCC has a system in place for external entities to conduct such surveys. Our own dedicated party workers serve as our primary strategists,” Mr. Rammohan Reddy further elaborated.
He stressed that this individual has no affiliation with the Congress and holds no official position within the party. “This person previously attempted to gain access to Congress leaders by offering to conduct surveys, only to later exploit photographs from those meetings to spread fabricated narratives,” Mr. Reddy alleged. He concluded by accusing the BRS party of actively supporting and promoting these misleading elements.
