In a heartwarming display of community service, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in collaboration with V R Multi-Speciality Hospital, organized a free medical camp in Kurnool. This initiative was a significant part of the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ – a fortnight-long series of service activities celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The event, held on Saturday, September 20th, aimed to bring essential healthcare directly to the people of Kurnool.
Prominent BJP leaders, including State spokesperson Vinusha Reddy and State secretary Geetha Madhuri Reddy, actively participated, underscoring the party’s commitment to public welfare. Dr. Vasu Reddy, the chief oncology surgeon from V R Multi-Speciality Hospital, led the medical team, providing expert care to a diverse group of over 300 attendees. The camp offered comprehensive services, including thorough medical tests and essential medicines, all provided completely free of charge to children, the elderly, and other community members.
Further extending the spirit of community engagement, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Anantapur organized a ‘Namo Yuva Run.’ Starting from Arts College and concluding at Saptagiri Circle, this spirited event saw enthusiastic participation from many students. Its primary goal was to educate and empower young people about the dangers and devastating effects of drug abuse and other detrimental habits, promoting a healthier lifestyle.
