Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin declared on Saturday that his DMK government has not only met but exceeded its job creation commitment made during the 2021 elections. Speaking on social media platform X, Mr. Stalin emphasized that “employment generation is the clearest sign of industrial progress.” He highlighted a recent news report, which referenced data from the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), revealing that Tamil Nadu has successfully generated an average of 12.5 lakh jobs annually over the past four years. “These figures comfortably surpass the 10 lakh jobs per year I pledged in 2021 from Tiruchirappalli,” stated the Chief Minister. He proudly asserted, “The Dravidian model is currently delivering 12.5 lakh jobs, and our growth trajectory is set to continue.”
