On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, Sangareddy witnessed the launch of a comprehensive health camp specifically designed for the families of police personnel. This vital initiative, a collaborative effort between the Sangareddy Police, the Indian Medical Association (IMA), and the MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre, brought together medical experts from an impressive 13 different specialties.
During the inauguration, Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narsimha underscored the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility. He announced plans to establish a dialysis center every 30 kilometers across the region. Furthermore, to significantly improve critical care response, 80 new trauma care centers will be set up at identified accident hotspots, ensuring patients receive timely treatment within the crucial ‘golden hour.’ The Minister also highlighted that existing cancer daycare centers in all districts are already providing essential chemotherapy services.
Distinguished attendees at the inauguration included Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation’s chairperson Nirmala Jaggareddy, district Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj, Collector P. Pravinya, alongside various members of the Indian Medical Association and other key dignitaries.
