Andhra Pradesh BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav recently announced that the next phase of Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms, set to commence on September 22, will bring substantial advantages to individuals and industries across the nation.
During a presentation given in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, Madhav detailed the Centre’s latest policy adjustments, noting a significant reduction to just two GST slabs. He expressed profound gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their instrumental role in implementing these progressive changes.
Madhav asserted that India is experiencing remarkable economic growth, largely attributed to these reformative measures. He contrasted India’s upward trajectory with the global economic slowdown, stating, “While other countries grapple with economic challenges, India is steadily climbing towards a leading global position under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Modi.”
He further elaborated on the nation’s impressive strides across vital sectors such as defence, railways, agriculture, industrial production, and pharmaceuticals. Madhav highlighted that India’s enhanced capabilities now enable it to export various products internationally, underscoring the positive impact of the streamlined tax system by explaining the forthcoming tax reductions on a range of goods.

Earlier that day, P. Ramesh Naidu, who has recently been appointed Chairman of the esteemed Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple Trust Board in Srisailam, paid a visit to Madhav at the BJP party office.
Commending Naidu, Madhav praised his unwavering dedication to the party, noting his long-standing commitment since his early days as an Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activist. “His appointment is a testament to the party’s commitment to honoring its devoted workers,” Madhav stated, encouraging party members to uphold the principle of ‘Nation First, Party Next, Self Last.’
