The BJP on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing it of failing to take decisive action against Pakistan, even after the devastating 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The ruling party alleged this inaction stemmed from the Congress’s ‘undying love’ for the neighboring nation.
These accusations follow recent comments by Sam Pitroda, the chief of Congress’s overseas department. Pitroda, who has advocated for stronger ties between India and its neighbors, reportedly stated that he ‘felt at home’ during a past visit to Pakistan.
Responding to Pitroda’s remarks, Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari declared, ‘Rahul Gandhi’s favored associate and Congress Overseas chief Sam Pitroda openly admits feeling “at home” in Pakistan. It’s no surprise then that the UPA government took no firm action against Pakistan even after the 26/11 attacks.’ Bhandari further criticized, ‘Pakistan’s favorite, Congress’s chosen!’
Rahul Gandhi’s blue-eyed boy & Congress Overseas chief Sam Pitroda says he ‘felt at home’ in Pakistan.
No wonder UPA took no tough action against Pak even after 26/11.
Pakistan’s favourite, Congress’s chosen!

Echoing Bhandari’s sentiments, fellow BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla asserted that the ‘Congress harbors an undying love for Pakistan.’ He claimed, ‘They even engaged with Hafiz Saeed through Yasin Malik. They absolved Pakistan of responsibility for 26/11, the Samjhauta Express attack, Pulwama, and Pahalgam terror incidents. They articulate Pakistan’s position on Article 370, and allocate 80% of water to Pakistan under the Indus Waters Treaty! They clearly have an affinity for Pakistan!’ Poonawalla concluded by sarcastically labeling the Indian National Congress as the ‘Islamabad National Congress.’
