In a powerful display of solidarity, the youth wing of the Bhim Army, known as Bharath Ekta Mission, is preparing to organize a ‘Bhim Path Sanchalan’ (a route march) in Chittapur. This demonstration aims to support Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge, serving as a counter-event to a planned RSS march in the Minister’s hometown this Sunday.
Santhosh Pala, the State president of the Bhim Army’s youth wing, clarified their stance during a press conference held on Saturday. He emphasized that Minister Kharge’s call was to prevent RSS activities on government properties, not to impose a complete ban on the organization itself. Pala highlighted that RSS supporters had misconstrued Kharge’s statement, leading to a barrage of threatening and abusive calls directed at the Minister.
Pala asserted that Minister Kharge remains resolute in his commitment to combat extremist and divisive forces associated with the RSS, driven by a deep conviction to safeguard India’s secular democratic foundation. He firmly stated that such intimidation tactics would not deter the Minister.
With the RSS having announced its ‘Path Sanchalan’ in the Chittapur constituency for Sunday, the Bhim Army is scheduled to conduct its ‘Bhim Path Sanchalan’ in the same area on the very same day, setting the stage for a significant public expression of differing ideologies.
