Bengaluru commuters faced unexpected delays on Sunday morning as the city’s Metro Yellow Line experienced significant disruption. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) confirmed that train services were affected for almost three hours due to a technical issue with one of its trains.
The problem arose around 10:15 AM, leading to trains operating at a reduced frequency of 25 minutes. This slowdown caused considerable inconvenience for passengers relying on the Yellow Line for their Sunday travel.
After a concerted effort, BMRCL announced that normal train operations were successfully restored by 1:58 PM, bringing an end to the nearly three-hour-long service interruption.
