Good news for Bengaluru residents! The Karnataka government’s crucial Social and Educational Survey, which has already begun in other parts of the state on September 22nd, is now set to commence within the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) limits on October 8th.
To ensure the smooth and efficient execution of this significant undertaking, the State Cabinet has granted the GBA Chief Commissioner robust authority. This includes the power to take strict disciplinary action, even suspension, against any officers or employees who fail to carry out their assigned duties or miss essential training sessions related to the survey.
Furthermore, comprehensive orders have been issued for the deployment of Group B and Group C officers and employees from various government departments and agencies across Bengaluru city. All departmental heads are explicitly instructed to relieve these appointed personnel, guaranteeing their full and dedicated participation in the vital survey work.
