Bengaluru’s racing circuit was alive with excitement on Friday morning (October 31st) as several equine stars showcased their prowess during rigorous exercises. Among the standout performers were Imperador, Charismatic, Sicyon, Skagen, and Fiery Love, each demonstrating exceptional form and hinting at promising runs ahead.
Inner Sand Workouts
600m: In the 600m sprints on the inner sand, White Secret, guided by R. Pradeep, displayed a strong stride, clocking an impressive 39.5 seconds. Del Aviz (Indrajeet) moved with ease at 40.5, while Hidden Dreams (rb) stretched out well, finishing in 39 seconds.
1000m: The 1000m inner sand trials saw Refreshment (Chetan K) in superb form, finishing in 1-7.5, with the last 600m covered in 39.6. Prana (B. Harish) outpaced Knotty Charmer (rb) by four lengths, recording 1-9 (600/39.5). Regal Reality (Indrajeet) was particularly impressive, clocking 1-8 (600/39.5). Cosmic Reward (R. Pradeep) finished six lengths ahead of Hushed (M. Naveen) in 1-8 (600/40), and Power Point (A. Ramu) trailed Treasure Queen (R. Pradeep) by four lengths, with a time of 1-9.5 (600/40).
Outer Sand Workouts
600m: On the outer sand, Storm Shadow (rb) moved effortlessly in 45 seconds. A two-year-old by Plumatic – Prussian Blue (Darshan) and Incredible Luck (Suraj) finished level in 44 seconds.
1000m: In the 1000m outer sand heats, Astrid (Rozario) and Quintus Arrius (D. Patel) both shaped well, clocking 1-15.5 (600/43.5). Monumental (Darshan) was dominant, finishing eight lengths ahead of a two-year-old by Arod – Golden Weaver (Vikranat) in 1-16.5 (600/44.5). Deviceful (Rushal), a two-year-old by Air Support – Perfect Polly (P. Mani), also showed good movement in 1-14 (600/43.5). Tiger Bay (Shinde) and Prince Of Wales (J. Chinoy) moved in unison, finishing in 1-16 (600/45).
1200m: The 1200m outer sand session saw some excellent performances. Imperador (B. Harish) delivered a superb display, completing the distance in 1-27.5 (1000/1-9.5, 600/42). Fiery Love (Antony) impressed with an attractive run of 1-29 (1000/1-13.5, 600/43). Inari Okami (Antony) also moved attractively, clocking 1-31 (1000/1-14.5, 600/43). Scarlette Lady (B. Harish) was in fine trim, finishing in 1-30 (1000/1-14, 600/44). A two-year-old by Sanus Per Aquam – Caprile (Suraj) finished five lengths ahead of another two-year-old by Sanus Per Aquam – Schiavone (Darshan) in 1-31 (1000/1-13.5, 600/43). Whistling Glory (Rozario) and Knotty Naughty (Tousif) were in good form, moving together in 1-29 (1000/1-13.5, 600/45). Sassy Sarah (Antony) moved comfortably in 1-30 (1000/1-14, 600/44.5). Double Scotch (Jagadeesh) put in a strong workout, clocking 1-28 (1000/1-12, 600/43.5). Finally, Politesse (J. Chinoy) finished six lengths clear of Glorious Spectre (S. Sachin) in 1-28 (1000/1-13, 600/43.5).
1400m: In the longest outer sand workout, Sicyon (Shreyas) truly impressed with a time of 1-40 (1200/1-24, 1000/1-9.5, 600/41.5). Charismatic (Shinde) showed impeccable condition, clocking 1-38 (1200/1-23, 1000/1-9.5, 600/43). Skagen (Mark) also pleased onlookers, finishing in 1-44 (1200/1-28, 1000/1-13, 600/43).
