The morning of October 18th in Bengaluru saw a brilliant display of athleticism from some of the city’s top racehorses. Names like Red Bishop, Miracle Star, Don Carlos, Ricardo, Rosaline, and Fils De France truly shone during their rigorous exercise sessions, hinting at their promising form for upcoming events.
Inner Sand Track Highlights:
Over the 600-meter inner sand track, several horses demonstrated impressive speed and stamina. Circle Of Dreams (Shreyas) moved commendably in 40 seconds, while Annablle (Antony) strode out powerfully, clocking 39.5. Knotty Affair (B. Paswan) showcased excellent condition with a time of 40.5. In a notable pairing, Valencia (R. Pradeep) finished a remarkable eight lengths ahead of Pursuit Of Wealth (M. Naveen), both completing the distance in 40 seconds. Divo (Chetan K) also shaped up well with a time of 40.5.
Outer Sand Track Highlights:
On the outer sand track for 600 meters, Ancient History (Chetan K) moved freely in 45.5 seconds, and Prana (Girish) had an easy run at 46 seconds. Chisox (rb) moved confidently on the bit, recording 45.5, while Auctav (rb) also showed good form in 45.
The 1000-meter outer sand distance saw Yannick (Antony) in fine trim, completing the run in 1:13.5 with the last 600 meters in 44 seconds. N R I Millennium (rb) demonstrated superior pace over N R I Gold (Jagadeesh), finishing four lengths ahead with a time of 1:12 (last 600m in 46). Siege Courageous (B. Harish) was also in fine shape, clocking 1:15.5 with the last 600 meters in 44.
In the 1200-meter outer sand category, Double Vision (Chetan K) pleased observers with a time of 1:28, including a 1:12.5 for 1000m and 43 for 600m. Ricardo (Antony) was particularly impressive, clocking 1:29 overall, with a swift 1:10 for 1000m and 42.5 for 600m. Allegro Dance (Jagadeesh) moved impressively at 1:28.5 (1000m: 1:13, 600m: 43.5), marking her as one to watch. Khazana (Antony) maintained fine condition at 1:27.5 (1000m: 1:13, 600m: 43.5). Elveden (Antony) worked well, completing the distance in 1:30 (1000m: 1:13, 600m: 43.5). Finally, Fils De France (Antony) delivered a strong performance with a time of 1:27 (1000m: 1:12, 600m: 43).
For the 1400-meter outer sand distance, Matisse (Shreyas) moved freely, recording 1:45 (1200m: 1:29.5, 1000m: 1:15, 600m: 45.5). Red Bishop (P. Trevor) demonstrated fluent movement, finishing in 1:43 (1200m: 1:27.5, 1000m: 1:12.5, 600m: 44). An outstanding performance came from Don Carlos (P. Trevor), who impressed with a time of 1:41.5 (1200m: 1:26, 1000m: 1:12, 600m: 44). The pair of Zephyrine (Pavan) and Hyperdrive (Arvind) both showed fine trim, completing their run in 1:44 (1200m: 1:29, 1000m: 1:14, 600m: 45). In another impressive pairing, Alamgir (Pavan) finished two lengths ahead of Stalingrad (Arvind), with a combined time of 1:41 (1200m: 1:27, 1000m: 1:13, 600m: 46). Winfield (Antony) continues to maintain good form, clocking 1:43.5 (1200m: 1:28.5, 1000m: 1:14, 600m: 43.5). Lastly, Rosaline (Antony) moved attractively, completing the distance in 1:44 (1200m: 1:26, 1000m: 1:11.5, 600m: 45).
The longest exercise, the 1600-meter outer sand, saw a truly pleasing display from Miracle Star (Suraj), who clocked an impressive 1:54, with intermediate times of 1:38 for 1400m, 1:24 for 1200m, 1:11 for 1000m, and a rapid 42.5 for the final 600m.
Inner Sand Gate Practice:
During the 1400-meter inner sand gate practice, Sapporo (Arvind) and Night Raider (Pavan) demonstrated smart jumps and good coordination, clocking 1:36 with the last 800m (1400-600) in 52.5 seconds. Supernal (Antony) also jumped out well, completing the distance in 1:38.5 with the last 800m in 51 seconds. Forseti (Sai Kiran) took a strong jump, recording 1:36 with the last 800m in 51.5.
