In a shocking incident that unfolded late at night in Bengaluru, a 41-year-old man was allegedly killed by his colleague during a dispute over a seemingly minor issue: switching off a light at their workplace. The victim, identified as Bheemesh Babu from Chitradurga district, worked at Data Digital Bank, a company involved in video storage for film shoots. The altercation reportedly occurred around 1:30 AM in the company’s rented office.

The accused, 24-year-old Somala Vamshi from Vijayawada, was reportedly one of only two employees present overnight. According to police investigators, the disagreement over the light escalated rapidly into a violent confrontation. In a sudden act of aggression, Vamshi allegedly struck Bheemesh Babu on the forehead with a dumbbell, resulting in immediate fatality.
Following the tragic event, Vamshi went directly to the Govindraj Nagar police station, where he confessed to the crime and surrendered to the authorities. The police have registered a murder case and taken Vamshi into custody. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the full details leading up to this fatal altercation.
