Hebbagodi police have successfully apprehended a 36-year-old man from Bihar following a shocking incident in Electronics City. The individual, known to authorities for his unruly past, is accused of violently attacking a milk parlour owner and vandalizing the shop, all sparked by a minor parking disagreement that occurred on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
The alleged assailant, identified as Tarun Chaudhury, a real estate professional originally from Bihar, was swiftly traced and taken into custody after the milk parlour owner filed an official complaint.
The disturbing events unfolded on October 9, around 10 p.m., and were fully recorded by the parlour’s CCTV cameras. According to reports, Chaudhury arrived at Gopal H.V.’s (42) shop in Electronics City (Phase II) in a luxury SUV, accompanied by two bodyguards. Visibly agitated, he stormed into the premises, demanding to know the owner’s identity.
Upon recognizing Gopal, Chaudhury immediately launched into a violent assault, striking him with a stick and delivering a barrage of slaps and kicks. When Gopal’s wife bravely attempted to intervene and stop the attack, she too became a target of the aggressor’s fury.
In the First Information Report (FIR), the complainant recounted Chaudhury’s menacing threats, stating, “He warned us that if we continued to park the milk van in front of the shop, he would either shoot us or run us over with his car. He also assaulted us using his footwear.”
Adding another layer to the shocking incident, the CCTV footage also captured Chaudhury’s rage extending to his own security personnel. He was seen kicking both bodyguards and punching one who attempted to calm him down amidst the escalating violence.
Chaudhury has been formally charged by the police under several sections of the BNS, including Section 115 (voluntarily causing hurt), Section 126 (wrongful restraint), Section 133 (assault or criminal force with intent to dishonour a person), Section 351 (criminal intimidation), and Section 74 (assault or use of criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty). He has since been remanded to judicial custody as investigations continue.
