HYDERABAD – Dundra Kumara Swamy, the National President of the BC Dal, has unequivocally stated that collective action is the linchpin for the Backward Classes (BC) movement to secure the vital 42% quota in Telangana. He stressed that a united front is the only way to overcome external challenges and ensure the initiative’s success.
In a powerful statement released on Thursday, Kumara Swamy articulated his vision: “When Backward Classes stand together, their demands become undeniable, even for the Central government. A genuine people’s movement, rooted in justice, transcends all political barriers. True leadership lies in treating society as an extended family, not merely as a source of votes. This profound unity is what will ultimately deliver constitutional justice for all Backward Classes.” He further lamented the current state, pointing out that the existing lack of coordination among various BC leaders has significantly weakened their collective struggle, with three prominent Joint Action Committees (JACs) operating independently rather than as a cohesive force.
