The tragic explosion, which occurred around 2:00 AM on August 30, rocked a rented residence in Kizhara, located within the Kannapuram area. The incident resulted in the unfortunate death of Mohammed Asham, a resident of Chalad, Kannur. Authorities moved swiftly, apprehending Malik in Kanhangad as he was allegedly attempting to evade capture. He now faces charges under the stringent Explosive Substances Act.
Investigations have revealed crucial details, including that the house where the fatal blast took place was rented by Malik.
