Residents of Hasanur experienced a rare sight when a colossal 20-foot python was discovered amidst a local potato farm. The impressive snake was safely captured by the diligent Fire and Rescue Services Department personnel following its detection.
The extraordinary encounter began when Sinraj, the owner of a three-acre potato field, observed unusual movements within his crops one morning. Upon closer inspection, he was met with the sight of the massive python gracefully making its way through his farm. Without hesitation, Sinraj promptly alerted the Hasanur fire station.
A team of firefighters quickly arrived on the scene. After a considerable effort and a challenging struggle, they successfully secured the immense reptile. Following its capture, the Forest Department took charge, transporting the python to a secluded, dense forest area where it was safely released, away from human habitation. The dramatic event drew a significant crowd of local residents, eager to witness the magnificent creature before its return to the wild.
