On Monday morning, the Chennai track came alive with spirited horse exercises, where several equine athletes showcased their prowess. Among the standout performers were Aspira and Phoenomenon, both of whom impressed onlookers with their vigorous workouts.
Outer Sand Workouts
On the outer sand, Phoenomenon particularly shone, moving remarkably well with a time of 41.5 seconds for 600 meters. Andora completed a 600m run easily in 47 seconds, while Mother’s Grace was urged to a 43.5 finish. Magical Bay also showed ease with a 47.5 finish. In a combined effort, Carolina Springs finished a notable five lengths ahead of Queens Cliff, clocking 46.5 seconds for their 600m run.
Inner Sand Workouts
The inner sand track also saw some robust action. Aspira was a true highlight, moving exceptionally well within herself to record a swift 41 seconds for 600 meters. Noorie demonstrated good shape with a 42.5 finish. Star Aristocracy moved freely at 47 seconds, and Arjun was held on tight reins for the same time. All Stars kept a handy pace at 46.5 seconds, while Vishwas and Black Diamond completed their runs easily and unextended at 47.5 and 47 seconds respectively. Larado moved freely at 46.5 seconds. Element and Kings Justice were easy and level at 47 seconds. Rise Again and Raffinato finished together at 42.5 seconds, displaying synchronized effort. Flourish and Still I Rise both had easy runs at 46.5 seconds. Sweet Fragrance and Bomber Jet also moved with ease at 46.5 seconds. Springsteen maintained a handy pace at 47 seconds, and Desert Star clocked 47.5 seconds. Dark Son completed his workout at 46.5 seconds. Finally, Opus One, Nozomi, and Classic King impressed as a fit trio, all finishing at 47 seconds.
