According to Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi), chairman of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple, the real estate sector in the state experienced considerable difficulties and a decline in growth, largely attributable to policies enacted by the former government. These policies, he noted, resulted in significant hardships for the populace.
Speaking at NAREDCO’s Amaravati Property Festival in Vijayawada on Saturday, Mr. Radhakrishna highlighted Vijayawada and Amaravati as crucial hubs for the state’s future prosperity. He emphasized that current development initiatives in these areas are poised to bring widespread benefits, not just locally but across the entire state.
He commended NAREDCO for orchestrating the exhibition, recognizing its role in informing the public about the region’s vast development potential. Furthermore, he noted that such gatherings boost confidence among prospective property buyers and foster overall growth within the real estate industry.
N. Balaswamy, a Telugu Desam Party corporator, voiced his hope that the government’s proactive steps would revitalize the real estate market. He expressed confidence that Amaravati is on track to become a pivotal center for the state’s development, generating employment and business prospects for every family in the area.
The three-day property festival is set to wrap up on Sunday. A press release from NAREDCO indicated strong public engagement, with over 5,000 attendees visiting the exhibition over the first two days, demonstrating significant interest in acquiring new properties.
Among those present at the event were Sandeep Mandava, NAREDCO Central Zone chairman, and Kiran Paruchuri, State organising secretary, along with other dignitaries.
