Andhra Pradesh is committed to cultivating a dynamic and inviting industrial environment. Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Kondapalli Srinivas, recently underscored the importance of adopting best practices from other states and nations to ensure the region’s industrial policies remain highly competitive and attractive for businesses.
During a recent review meeting at the Secretariat, Minister Srinivas held discussions with key officials from the MSME Department and the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). He specifically instructed them to make the development of core infrastructure a top priority across all 175 MSME parks currently being established throughout the state.
The Minister stressed the urgent need to accelerate progress on vital projects such as road networks, reliable water supply, and robust power connections. These fundamental enhancements are crucial for fostering significant industrial growth and empowering businesses within these parks. He also urged officials to ensure their efforts are closely aligned with the state’s progressive new industrial policy, which is designed to fast-track MSME development and champion local entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, Mr. Srinivas delivered clear directives: the approval process for new industrial ventures must be efficient and free from unnecessary hold-ups. He also called for proactive measures to encourage entrepreneurs to fully leverage the various incentives and support systems offered by the government.
