In a significant move to boost economic growth, Andhra Pradesh’s Ministers P. Narayana, responsible for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, and B.C. Janardhan Reddy, overseeing Roads & Buildings and Infrastructure & Investments, recently visited Seoul. Their primary objective was to engage with LG Chemicals Chairman Shin Hak Cheol and his team at the company’s headquarters, aiming to draw substantial investments into Andhra Pradesh. During their meeting, the Ministers actively encouraged Mr. Shin to explore the diverse investment landscape of the state and extended a personal invitation to the highly anticipated CII Partnership Summit, set to take place in Visakhapatnam from November 14th to 15th.
Following this crucial discussion, the delegation held productive talks with senior executives from LS Group, a leading South Korean conglomerate known for its robust presence in electronics, energy, and cable manufacturing sectors. The day’s agenda also included a visit to the Indian Embassy in Seoul, where Ministers Narayana and Janardhan Reddy met with key officials, including Deputy Chief of Mission Nishi Kant Singh and First Secretary Sanjana Arya. This high-level delegation was further supported by Special Chief Secretary M.T. Krishna Babu (Transport, Roads & Buildings), Principal Secretary Peeyush Kumar (Finance), and other senior representatives from the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board, all working collaboratively to forge stronger economic ties and secure future investments for the state.
