Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer made a significant visit to the sacred Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam on Friday, September 26, 2025.
During his visit, Governor Nazeer performed ‘darshan’ of the Goddess, who was beautifully adorned in the divine Sri Mahalakshmi Devi ‘alankaram’ (decoration) for the fifth day of the festivities, and humbly offered his prayers.
The Governor was greeted with traditional temple honors by prominent officials, including Endowments Commissioner Ramachandra Mohan, Collector G. Lakshmisha, and temple Executive Officer (EO) V.K. Seena Naik.
As a token of respect and remembrance, Mr. Lakshmisha, the EO, and the temple priests presented Governor Nazeer with a cherished memento: a photograph of Goddess Kanaka Durga Devi.
